Team Penske visited the White House on Wednesday, with Roger Penske bringing several of his top drivers and race cars from NASCAR, IndyCar, and IMSA to celebrate recent successes.
The event featured 2023 and 2024 NASCAR Cup Series champions Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano, who stood beside Logano’s No. 22 Ford Mustang. Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden also attended with his No. 2 Chevrolet.
Representing IMSA were Nick Tandy, Felipe Nasr, and Laurens Vanthoor—winners of the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona—alongside their No. 7 Porsche 963 GTP.
The group met with former President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, where they posed for photos before heading outside to view the race cars on display. Trump, who had recently attended the Daytona 500 and led the field in the presidential motorcade, commended Penske for his motorsports legacy.
He then read from a note, naming each driver and their accomplishments, and asked Blaney and Newgarden how fast they could drive. NASCAR’s top officials, Steve Phelps and Steve O’Donnell, as well as IndyCar CEO Mark Miles, were also present.
