Circuit of the Americas hosted the fourth race of th 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season (third points race) this past Sunday afternoon, with live coverage on Fox, just like the previous races.

This year, Fox’s share of the broadcast schedule has been reduced from 18 races (16 points races) to 14 (12 points races) under the new seven-year media rights deal, which includes returning networks Fox and NBC along with new partners Amazon Prime Video and TNT Sports.

Fox is only airing five races on its main channel, while the remaining nine in its portion of the schedule are being shown on Fox Sports 1. With four of those five races already completed, there won’t be another race on Fox for nearly two months.

Beginning with next Sunday’s Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix Raceway, six consecutive races will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 instead of Fox. After this stretch, NASCAR will take a break for Easter Sunday, meaning fans will have to wait eight weeks before the next race on Fox.

Fox’s next scheduled Cup Series broadcast will be the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, April 27. After that, Fox Sports 1 will air the final three races of Fox’s schedule, including the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday, May 18.

It’s important to note that the same broadcast team calls the races whether they air on Fox or Fox Sports 1. Mike Joy serves as the lead announcer, with Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick providing driver analysis.

Amazon Prime Video will take over coverage for five races, starting with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 25. TNT Sports will then air five races, covering the five-race in-season tournament beginning with the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 28.

Like Fox, NBC has also seen its schedule reduced under the new deal, dropping from 20 races to 14. While USA Network will still broadcast 10 races, NBC itself has cut back from 10 to just four.

With four of the nine races set to air on Fox and NBC already completed, it’s notable that we are only three points races into the 36-race season.
