Christopher Bell is feeling great, especially after securing back-to-back wins in the NASCAR Cup Series.

He’s especially pleased that Sunday’s race at the Circuit of the Americas ended without any major crashes affecting the outcome.

Speaking on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio, Bell praised how drivers competed cleanly and fairly. He hopes this marks a shift away from the aggressive bumping and shoving that has defined some Cup Series races.

During the race, Bell had to be strategic and patient to overtake Kyle Busch, who had been leading for much of the second half.

In the final laps, William Byron put up a strong challenge, but Bell managed to hold him off.

Despite the tricky turns of the road course, drivers largely avoided excessive contact.

Bell has already experienced a range of race conditions this season, from crashing out at Daytona to winning in overtime at Atlanta after a late caution.

This time, however, he and most of the field made it through with minimal damage.

Of course, not everyone had a smooth race—Chase Elliott, for example, spun out early after contact with Ross Chastain. Fans who enjoy dramatic, crash-filled finishes might have a different perspective as well.

Superspeedway racing will likely continue to produce intense finishes, especially with race wins securing playoff spots.

For now, though, Bell is enjoying the moment and will aim for a third straight victory at the Shriners Children’s 500 in Phoenix on Sunday.
