Full Qualifying Order Released for NASCAR Cup Series Race at Talladega

Talladega Superspeedway is set to host its first of two NASCAR Cup Series events this Sunday, marking the 10th race of the 2025 regular season. The event, now titled the Jack Link’s 500, will consist of 188 laps around the iconic 2.66-mile high-banked oval in Lincoln, Alabama.

This race marks the third superspeedway event of the season, following the season opener at Daytona International Speedway and the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Due to Talladega’s superspeedway designation, qualifying will use a modified format. Unlike typical oval tracks, qualifying won’t be split into groups, but it will feature two rounds. All drivers participate in the first round, and the top 10 fastest drivers will move on to a second round to compete for the pole position.

Drivers are ordered for qualifying using a new two-factor metric introduced by NASCAR this season, replacing the four-factor formula used from 2020 to 2024.
