Las Vegas Motor Speedway is set to host its first of two NASCAR Cup Series races in the 2025 season this weekend.
The Pennzoil 400 marks the fifth race of the season.
The entry list for Sunday’s 267-lap race on the 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) track in Las Vegas, Nevada, has only one change compared to last weekend’s race at Phoenix Raceway, which many considered the first “regular” oval race of the season.

Live Fast Motorsports, which participated in last weekend’s Phoenix race with Katherine Legge driving the No. 78 Chevrolet, will not be competing in Las Vegas. The No. 78 car was the only open (non-chartered) entry at Phoenix.
For this weekend’s race, all 36 entries are chartered, meaning there will be no open cars on the grid. The last time a Cup Series race featured only chartered cars was last August at Michigan International Speedway. This will end a 16-race streak of having more than 36 cars, the longest such streak in the Next Gen era.
