President Donald Trump hosted NASCAR stars at the White House on Wednesday, honoring reigning Cup Series champion Joey Logano, fellow Team Penske drivers, and legendary team owner Roger Penske.

Also attending were NASCAR Commissioner Steve Phelps and President Steve O’Donnell. Logano’s teammate and 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney joined the celebration, along with crew chiefs Jonathan Hassler and Paul Wolfe.

Representing Team Penske from other racing disciplines were two-time Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden and 24 Hours of Daytona champions Laurens Vanthoor, Nick Tandy, and Felipe Nasr.

“This event is a tribute to racing,” said President Trump during the ceremony. “It’s about celebrating Roger Penske’s extraordinary accomplishments and these incredible champions who do what so few can.”

“These are elite athletes in an elite sport,” he continued. “We honor champions here, and these are some of the best in the world.”
